Noah's Ark
Ya didn't know I was a paper engineer, did ya?! Neither did I.
For this special Noah's Ark Origami Kit that I designed for The Book Shop, Ltd. for Thunder Bay, my job stetched beyond the design of the kit, instruction book and folding papers. This kit required a special feature . . . a 3-dimensionsal (build-it-yourself) Ark to display with the Origami Noah, Noah's Wife and Animals . . . 2 by 2, of course.
Here are the production sheets. The user of the kit will be provided these "kiss-cut" sheets to pop-out the pieces and build!
And finally . . . my favorite part . . . a few snapshots of the developemnt of the ark. (A much less elegant process than Noah's, I'd assume) This took a lot of sketches and trian and terror. It tool a lot of planning, testing and paper! But I got there in the end!
